Hotel Emiliano – Arthur Casas
The Emiliano was the first boutique hotel in São Paulo, a concept that encompasses different facilities and sale of furniture and design objects. It is not five-star “common”, your project includes an installation by artist Siron Franco reception, a garden of orchids and hanging chairs in the lobby signed by the Campana brothers. Arthur Casas left a structure of 23 floors, in a narrow terrain and no decreases in Rua Oscar Freire in São Paulo, and performed the Hotel Emiliano.
The facade is minimalist with closing glass, custom cutouts and a cubic volume with a reflective glass designed under the helipad. The project uses 57 lofts in indoor light colors, mixing classic and modern with an oriental touch. Salient Features of the architect are present in the choice of natural materials, the organization spaces, transparency and natural light.
With absence of side setbacks, double height at the entrance and sloping glass walls give grandeur to the set and allow a visual of the lobby area and the water mirror and hanging baskets. The lobby is on the ground floor with the bar positioned
on the right side, allowing more area for movement. Are also on this floor: lounge, bar, sushi bar and a large restaurant, complemented by a fireplace and bookcase with books.
On the mezzanine located a lounge for private dining. The rooms also include rooms for video conferencing. On the top floor is the spa with massage facilities, a fitness center complete with hot tubs and panoramic view.
The apartments distributed between the first and 22 th floors, two rooms and one suite per floor. The furniture includes items of their own homes and the Campana brothers and the uniforms of the employees take the signature of the designer Ocimar Versolato.
